Problem with Slash on Domains

^Hello,

^{when you type a domain name:}http://www.domain.com:443 this link shows the content of /var/www

Is this something that could be prevented in future versions ?

The content of /var/www/? Are you sure?
I get following:

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please.

Which distribution & apache2 version you're using?

Can not replicate.
Also, what plugins are activated?
