Dovecot - SpamToJunk, ImapIDLE and Expunge Junk Folder

    i use ubuntu 14.04 with i-mscp 1.1.22 and for me the user and group are vmail:mail. I don't know if in your installation dovecot use the same user and group

    the user and group is the same, but the standard permissions for /var/lib/dovecot were not sufficient for that user to access that file... [btw. I use Debian Wheezy (7.8) ]

    Maybe a problem of recursive permissions? Try to change the location of the default.sieve file, it's not obbligatory to store it in the folder that i've described
