enable SSL from admin panel

  • Hi, we have a server set up with i-MSCP and hosting a lot of live websites. We need to enable SSL for it, I can see this can be done using the control panel when logged in as admin, my only concern however would it regenerate any config files and if so which ones? Don't want to be enabling it and find everything is down after.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    i-MSCP 1.1.13

    Build: 20140720

    Codename: Eagle

    OS: Ubuntu 14.04

  • For a domain or the panel? Also please edit your thread and add the imscp version & os.

  • Hi, for a domain.

Initial thread edited to include OS and i-MSCP version.

    Thanks

  • Normally you only need to paste your certs in the customers domain list page (right to the domain). May you need to enable ssl in your installer or just in the /etc/imscp/imscp.conf

  • Hi, what I mean to ask is would enabling SSL feature in the admin login for the customer domains under Settings > Other Settings > Enable SSL regenerate any config files?

  • No it does not regenerate any config files, just if you add an cert.
