(Solved) Just Webspace and no Mail? Cant find the config for Mailboxes

    Hello, i am a bit in trouble.


    The Domain www.example.com is registred by 1&1 Server.
    The Customer wants the webspace on my root but keep the Mails on the 1&1 Server.


    On my root Sever i create the user with domain www.example.com.
    On 1&1 i set a A Record to my ip (root server)


    So Webspace is running fine, BUT!!
    The the customer script also create mailboxes for the domain www.example.com, now i cant send my customer any Mail because


    "The server response was: <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table"


    i delete the domain from postfix, but cant find the dovecote user.
    Any Help are Welcome.


    The best where just create the customer new, without mail.

    You should use "External Mailserver" for this.
    Login as Reseller, activate it on the Customers Domain, Login as Customer and set the external Mailserver to 1&1.
