I just got it solved: I tried the Upgrade via a virtual console hvc0 over xen "xm console vm" It seems that the size of the window is not recognized this way. /var/log/imscp/imscp-setup.log shows something of 80x25 ... Just logged in via ssh directly to the vm and was able to upgrade without error! SOLVED. Hope it helps someone! Thank you.
