Use Piwik instead of Google Analytics?

Hi there,

why do you give google all information of your visitors instead of hosting your own analytics tool (like Piwik)?

I think it would be better to avoid giving google this kind of information.

What do you think?

We've talked about the Google Analytic problematic earlier and concluded to continue to use it. I can't remember the exact Pros/Cons of why and why not, but we are aware of this.
Piwik is an excellent alternative I agree and we might consider switching over, also now it's going to be a part of the panel itself.

I'll keep you posted when it's been talked about internally. Thanks for reminding us.
