IMSCP Backup

    Hallo liebe Community,


    wir haben folgendes Problem beim IMSCP Backup.


    Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das Backup zu beschleunigen? Derzeit dauert das Backup (derzeit 8 Kunden angelegt) über 24 Stunden.


    Vielleicht hat jemand paar Tipps was man da machen kann?


    Zweite Frage. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit alle Mysql Datenbanken zu sichern ohne selbst was zu skripten?

    i-MSCP is providing a simple bakcup solution with a storage of the data. That solution is not a final solution. Better would be to backup your data on a remote server with a tool able to process incremental backups.



    About i-MSCP backup feature: Depending on the capacities of your server, you can set the value of the BACKUP_COMPRESS_ALGORITHM parameter in the /etc/imscp/imscp.conf file to pbzip2. This will enable backup parallelization. However, be aware that this will increase the CPU time, the memory consumption and IO access.
