Important files / folders to backup

    Hi,


    I want to keep backup of my server with i-mscp. Can you please tell me which files/folders that needs to be backup?. So I can move to a new server if necessary or restore if anything gets corrupted.

    /var/mail/
    /etc/imscp/
    complete database

    But a question don't I have to full backup /etc


    As I could have customized postfix, fail2ban, also /etc/apache2 contains domain configuration. Won't I need them to work with imscp in new server?.

    I wouldn't do that. After clean installation I would just reconfigure the needed systems for your needs. If you modificate config files which are generated by imscp, I definitely recommend to use listener-files.


    The apache vhost files will be regenerated after rerunning the imscp-autoinstall.
