please can you assist with a work arround to get i-mscp onto debian bullseye,

i cant get buster as it is eol, and php7.3 is missing the (php7.1-apcu-bc php7.1-apcu) as it was removed from 7.3,

the ssl for imap/pop for courier and dovecot both fail as well,

i cant get beyond the installer on these points (see attached images) ssl version not detected (installer fails at this point)

i have tried to install again using debian 9, 10, 11

without any luck getting my server back online again after some hardware failure,

debian buster - php support was removed from sury.org

debian bullseye - installer fails

please assist.

The problem is not about certbot, nor about i-MSCP or its LetsEncrypt plugin but about openSSL v1.0.x which cannot validate the SSL certificates.

To solve the problem, you need in order:

1. Make sure that the CA ISRG Root X1 is installed on your system (in /etc/ssl/certs) : PEM AVAILABLE HERE
2. Remove the old X3 (mozilla) CA which has expired

kess Good job. I don't think that all steps are required. You don't need to import the full CA. Regarding certbot, I'll update it.

kivamp You're totally right. To solve the problem, install the ISRG root X1 and remove the expired one manually from /etc/ssl/certs
