For me it's absolutely ok to drop PHP 4.4 and 5.2.

For me the reason for PHP-Switcher was, that i could use NEWER PHP-Versions than 5.6, wich was bundled with Debian-9 (Stretch) and one-time for PHP-5.5 - for only one customer, which was in the migration-process with me.
