You mean for the sql support or for something else?

mainly because of other systems that can also use powerdns. i admit, it is not solely for i-mscp's benefit, but is still open-source and allows flexibility. and in trying to make i-MSCP truly multi-server, it may be a good option...

edit: and flames, would love to see your custom DNS scripts for that, bitte :)

yes, ideally we can work duplicity into being the backup engine, and incorporate archiving, and allow people to restore any day of the backup. duplicity is the best rsync + compression option so far.

I did purge, etc. and installer kept giving me the error. I have full VM backups with instant recovery so it's back up in 30 seconds, that's why I restore ;) just no time to keep messing with it... i will try again in more ways now and make sure to copy any/all logs. but this did happen on two separate systems, both running Ubuntu 12.04 and i-MSCP 1.1.0-rc1.4, so thought I should share in case anyone else came across it.

    Hi Guys,

Before I make a ticket, just wanted to check first about this... I got an error when upgrading to Git Master on Ubuntu 12.04 precise from 1.1.0-rc1.4. See attached images.

I upgraded one successfully on 26.03.2013.

Then I tried with latest even though it says "Stabilization period" and then got the errors.

So I tried with the Master branch from 26.03.2013 that worked before, and got the same errors!

It's something to do with mysql, might be a new Ubuntu mysql 5.5 update that is messing with configs? It fails to start and it's very hard to get mysql reinstalled and running... I just restore a whole system backup.

Any ideas what's going on? I can make a ticket if needed, but if it's not i-MSCP then just wondering if you guys have ideas...

Doing some fresh Git master installs and a couple updates from i-MSCP 1.1.0-rc1.4 and have a question about the php-fpm implementation...

Git master on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise with php-fpm, working, very well, awesome new version... thanks nuxwin, and all...

Updating 1.1.0-rc1.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise with fcgid, to Git Master 23.03,2013, can't switch to php-fpm. even with "./imscp-setup --reconfigure" after the update, I only get options for fastcgi and fcgid, but not php-fpm, is this default behavior? Or is there a new --reconfigure option amongst all those new reconfigure switches to switch to php-fpm? :)

    Thanks!

yes the daemons will stop. you really want to schedule some off-hours time for this, and have a good backup in place in case you need to roll back. but the upgrade process is pretty smooth.

Is there any particular reason we removed the "Street 2" entry option for User details? I see from my upgrade (and noticed some time ago), for old migrated users it still exists, but new customers in i-MSCP 1.1.0 do not have the option for Street 2. It would be good to still have Street 2, to keep data consistent between any billing module and i-MSCP, as many customers, at least from the U.S. will have a second line in the address. So, any reason not to put it back in? If so, that is okay too, but if there's not really a reason, I think we should allow it. Opinions?
