    Update 1.4.9 released

    27 September 2020

    We proudly announce the next service release to update the stable version 1.4.

    It contains fixes and general improvements from our issue tracker, mainly related to email composition and UI oddities in Elastic skin and with the TinyMCE richtext editor.

    This release is considered stable and we recommend to update all productive installations of Roundcube with this version. Download it from roundcube.net.

    PHP 8.0.0 Release Candidate 1 available for testing

    The PHP team is pleased to announce the eighth testing release of PHP 8.0.0, Release Candidate 1.

    At this time, we're not planning to adjust the GA date, however this may change during the course of the RC cycle. The updated release schedule can, as always, be found on the PHP Wiki page about the PHP 8.0.

This point in the release cycle would normally be RC1, however we're still finalizing development of the JIT and squaring away named arguments, so we've opted for an extra beta release with plans to start the RC cycle in two weeks.

    In der Tat habe ich das bisher noch nie gemacht, wurde von unserem Serveranbieter so bereitgestellt und ein Bekannter hatte einmal ein Update von iMSCP durchgeführt, dieser ist aber nicht mehr verfügbar. Die Bedienung des Backends ist mir soweit ganz gut vertraut, direktes Arbeiten auf dem Server allerdings nicht.
    Würde das jemand von euch umsetzen können bzw. bietet das als Dienstleistung an?
    Ich möchte mich ehrlich gesagt ungerne selbst in diese Materie einarbeiten, also auch für die Zukunft einen direkten Ansprechpartner zu haben wäre super.

    Security updates 1.4.8, 1.3.15 and 1.2.12 released

    We just published security updates to the stable version 1.4 and the LTS versions 1.3 and 1.2 of Roundcube Webmail. They all contain two recently reported cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. The 1.4.8 release also contains a number of general improvements from our issue tracker.

    Security fixes

    • Fix cross-site scripting (XSS) via HTML messages with malicious svg content (CVE-2020-16145)
    • Fix cross-site scripting (XSS) via HTML messages with malicious math content

    Credits for these two findings go to Łukasz Pilorz from Pentesters.
