  • debian 9 install error

    for debian 9 the php packages from sury.org have been removed as per end of june - as stated above.

    Maybe (for special situations) the packages from tdrnetworks (made for devuan) may be of help - they are still online (for devuan ascii which is the systemd-less variant of debian 9...

    But there is no apcu_bc package... but the panel works without this module...


    But I didn't test, if this works as a replacement...

    hempelr - it's ok to post his own opinion in the forum... normally once and in one thread... - but posting more or less the same in several threads in the same time... doesn't help anyone.

    "Bas" is a member in this forum since end of 2020 and had his first post in February this year end with "... no problems" - I think it's allowed to tell him to stop spamming... - btw. I think Athar meant his own ban (not a global one).

    So - still far away from what you think :-)

    Hallo Leute

    ich hab auch schon an Fork gedacht und das geschrieben - leider reicht das nicht... es muss es jemand machen... es gibt einige, die Interesse haben an einer Art Weiterentwicklung (Fork oder sonstwas), aber heute hat niemand Zeit und irgendwie kommt keine Gruppe zustande.

    Ich hab vor einem Monat einen neuen Thread aufgemacht [Please help - update i-MSCP to run on new system] und mit anderen zusammen begonnen imscp auf aktuellen Debian und Devuan zu installieren. Basierend auf den letzten Änderungen von Nuxwin (Ende 2021) ist das Ziel eigentlich erreicht - nur die Plugins klappen (logischerweise) nicht oder nur ganz wenige, da wird dran gearbeitet.

    Es gibt auch Überlegungen, auf dem letzten Release (20181208) aufbauend zu erneuern - das bezieht weit weniger externe Bibliotheken als die letzte Variante. Zurzeit sind die Resultate in Forks auf github erhältlich - wie es weitergeht ist offen, ob es ein "i-mscp reborn" geben wird oder was, steht noch in den Sternen. Das M im Namen ist ja auch einmal anzugehen.... :-))

    Alle, welche dieser Idee positiv gegenüberstehen sind eingeladen sich aktiv zu beteiligen - sei es mit Testen oder auch betreuen von Ubuntu... oder so...
