Upgrading i-MSCP to 1.2.0 failed (Exit Code 100)

  • Hello,

I tried to upgrade iMSCP to 1.2.0 on Debian 7.7 - unfortunately I'm getting this error:

    /var/log/imscp/imscp-autoinstall.log is existing but empty.

    What can I do here?

  • Hi,

do you have run the upgrade with -d?

    Code
    1. # perl imscp-autoinstall -d

Then the /var/log/imscp/imscp-autoinstall.log shouldnt be empty.

  • I started again without "-d" and the /var/log/imscp/imscp-autoinstall.log is still empty :-(

Edit: Oh I misunderstood your post. Yes, I tried with "-d", too - no result. Error, but error log is empty

  • My question was, if you run the upgrade with or without -d.
Now I saw that i-mscp want to downgrade a package. I think this is not normal on Debian 7.7. Do you use some special APT sources?

Try an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade before you start the installer.
