    Hallo,
    ich habe ja nun in einigen Posts gelesen, dass es bei den aktuellen Versionen einige Sachen beim Update zu beachten gibt (Plugins vorher deaktivieren etc.). Wenn ich also nur nach der Updateanleitung im Wiki handle werde ich irgendwann auf einen Fehler laufen und bemühe dann das Forum wo mir gesagt wird, dass dieses Thema schon in mehreren Threads behandelt wurde. Wäre es nicht sinnvoll diese Dinge mit in das Wiki einzupflegen um die Fehler direkt auszuschließen?
    Ich nutze momentan Version 1.1.5 und kann nun nicht sagen, ob ein Upgrade auf Version 1.1.9 ohne Probleme läuft. Wie verhält es sich mit den Zertifikaten, was ist mit dem phpswitcher Plugin usw.?

    The problems found in the 1.1.9 version were fixed. A new version 1.1.10 will be released today. Most of the problems about SSL are not due to i-MSCP but more because the users have not sufficient knowledge. About the PhpSwitcher plugin, I don't see any problem. Normally, if the plugins are well coded, you have not to disable them on update. We recommend to disable them only for safe reasons because sometime, a plugin currently in use is not compatible with the new i-MSCP version.


    About the wiki

    The wiki is open to our community and you're free to contribute. Don't forget that an administrator is not free of any administration task. Even if i-MSCP allows some automation, it's not a reason to become lazy. I see too many users which self proclaims administrator, and which in the facts, do not have sufficient knowledge, leading to several threads on our forum which should not exist.

    Ich habe erst am Mittwoch mein System von 1.1.5 auf 1.1.9 aktualisiert und habe meine neun Plugins (ClamAV, DomainAutoApproval, Mailgraph, Monitorix, OpenDKIM, OwnDDNS, Postscreen, RoundcubePlugins, SpamAssassin) nicht deaktiviert und alles lief ohne Probleme.


    Wie Nuxwin schon erwähnt hat, es ist nicht notwendig die Plugins zu deaktivieren, aber um auf Nummer sicher zu gehen kann man es machen.
