Manually update i-mscp SSL Certificate

  • Hello together,

I have a (maybe) very simple question. When I installed i-mscp I set it up with an SSL Certificate from CaCert. Last week this certificate expired, so i have to renew it.

Yesterday I tried to Install my new Certificate with the Perl Script (/var/www/imscp/ blah / imscp-setup -dr SSL). I think this would work, but there is a problem for me:

I made a lot of costum configuration files for Postfix, Dovecot, apache etc. and the I-MSCP installation assistent overwrites them when I install the new cert.

So my question is: Is there a way to manually update the SSL Cert without overwriting my costum config files? Where does I-MSCP save the Cert (File / DB???).

Thank you for your answers this would really help me.

    Cheers,

    Florian

  • Hi,

The cert/Key file is below at

    Code
    1. /etc/imscp/yourpanel.url.pem

After replacing all Services must be restarted. (apache, postfix, ftp, ...)

  • Thank you!

I also found it 5 minutes ago. But Thanks!
