possible to prepare a vServer für clients/ customers

  • Hi,

some of my customers asked me, if it is possible to prepare a vServer for them.

Until now I use the ispCP 1.0.7 and I wouldn´t do the work to install and configure a vServer-program into a servertool that is already dead.

So I´ve searched in the www and found openVZ (http://wiki.openvz.org/Main_Page) and I think that it should be possible to include the functionality of this opensopurce-project into i-MSCP, isn´t it?

How do you think about it?

PS: I´ve opened a ticket in the wishlist (#295), but I´m interested about your opinion.

  • It's possible to provide it for Debian. I'll talk about that with daniel.

  • Very good idea, but don't forget users use i-mscp inside a openvz container. The ''option'' maybe disabled at installation.

    Debian 6 with proxmox 2 - OpenVZ - KVM
    I-mscp 1.0.3.0 migrate from ispcp 1.0.7
