Problem moving from dovecot to courier

    I am trying to check some of the inner workings of courier (see http://forum.i-mscp.net/thread-404.html) and doing a 'perl imscp-autoinstall' in a working system results in broken mail system.


    This is the first error screen I seecourier_error.png


    After accepting all the prompts the only error I can see in the console is this:

    1. [ ERRORS ]
    4. iMSCP::Debug::END: Exit code is 1!


    There are no mentions of anything wrong in the /var/log/imscp/imscp-setup.log altought I have enabled the debug in imscp.conf


    The good news is that I can run the setup again and it fixes the mail again by using dovecot.

    Can you send me log to see what was the problem?

    I can't see anything wrong there, but there you go, this is /var/log/imscp/imscp-setup.log

    this log is ok. seems the problem is when you switch between courier and dovecot. Can you test that situation?

    Yes, that is exactly the problem, I tried again with todays trunk and there's no difference, I still see the same error.
    I attach today's log imscp-build.log.gz


    The only suspicious process is that there's a warning of dovecot saying

    Since dovecot shouldn't be started or restarted, that makes no sense
