Version '5.5*' for 'libmysqlclient18' was not found update 1.3.5 of 1.3.6

  • Moin Moin @ all
So I have just tried to make an update from 1.3.5 to 1.3.6, the following error message comes to the semblance.

    PHP
    1. [ERROR] autoinstaller :: Adapter :: DebianAdapter :: installPackages: Could not install packages:
    2. Building dependency tree ...
    3. Reading state information ...
    4. E: Version '5.5 *' for 'libmysqlclient18' was not found
    5. Autoinstaller :: Functions :: build: An error occurred while doing build steps

    My system is

Server version: Apache / 2.4.18 (Ubuntu)

    PHP 7.0.12-1 ~ dotdeb + 8.1 (cli) (NTS)
Copyright (c) 1997-2016 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v3.0.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies
    With Zend OPcache v7.0.12-1 ~ dotdeb + 8.1, Copyright (c) 1999-2016, by Zend Technologies

Mysql ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.15, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper

The whole is local with me at home.

    my System :

    - Distribution: Debian | Release: 9.13 | Codename: wheezy
    - i-MSCP Version: i-MSCP 1.5.3| Build: 20181208 | Codename: Ennio Morricone
    - Plugins installed: ClamAV (v. 1.3.0), Mailgraph (v 1.1.1), OpenDKIM (v 2.0.0), SpamAssassin (v 2.0.1)
    - LetsEncrypt (v3.3.0), PhpSwitcher (v 5.0.5), RoundcubePlugins (v 2.0.2)YubiKeyAuth 1.1.0

  • Which Ubuntu version you use exactly?

Anyway, the problem is simple here, you don't use the default software versions. Thus, you must override the default packages file for your distribution using the following listener: 10_packages_override.pl

I could help you through teamviewer if needed.

BTW: DotDeb on Ubuntu? This is not recommended. It is clearly stated on Dotdeb:

    Code
    1. The packages from Dotdeb should work on Ubuntu, but no additional support will be provided.

    See https://www.dotdeb.org/about/

For Ubuntu, there is PPA available ;)

  • I try it times on the weekend itself because dotdeb I had not registered in the source.list actually now I see it the dotdeb is installed.
