Plugin status for 1.3.0

  • @mrpink@Ninos

We are on the point to release i-MSCP version 1.3.0. So I would known the status of all plugins because we need release them prior releasing the new i-MSCP version.

Also, as talked with Ninos internally, the following rules will be now applied:

For each i-MSCP serie (here the serie 1.3.x) no major change will be made into the plugin API. Also, in the changelog, we will now say: Version compatible with i-MSCP serie 1.3.x instead of a specific version.

To resume, a plugin compatible with Serie 1.3.x must works with any version in that serie.

    Thanks.

  • @mrpink can you may test with 1.3.x, also increase api_version to 1.0.4? Here we don't care about 1.2.x anymore :D:D

  • Ok, I'll update my 1.2.17 development system to 1.3.x and do some testing the next couple of days.

  • @mrpink

Prior updating, don't forget to read the errata file. There is a lot of changes in 1.3.x ;)

  • @mrpink @Ninos

Pydio 6.1.x requires a database and it is a pain to handle (e.g, update..). Because of that, we will disable it for 1.3.x. We will provide an alternative. I need more time to figure out how to handle pydio ugprade manually (database).

  • I'm going to have a fresh server installation with debian jessie 8.4. Non critical machine. Since roundcube 1.2 is released and I don't need other plugins at this time, I could do some testing when installing from Git branch 1.3. With a special view on letsencrypt. Would that be helpful?
