Missing /tmp/imscp/ (migrating ispCP 1.0.7 to i-MSCP 1.1.0-beta2)

  • Hi,

im trying to migrate to i-MSCP 1.1.0-beta2 on a cloned debian system. According to the documentation[1] there should be a folder named "imscp" under /tmp/ after i've said "no" in the installation step which says "The Installer detected that you are using Debian squeeze. Is this ok?".

Does anybody know if there's another place where the temporary files are placed? Or did i quit the installation to early?

  • think it is to early the system has not yet all the data it needs.
try to stop on next question because: (but IMPORTANT, when you see the i-mscp setup screen. SAY NO)

Thanks for the quick reply. The next Question would be to "Choose server httpd" which cant' be cancelled. The "i-mscp setup" screen does already appear at the first question. Do you have another idea?

  • just go on until you see (see picture) then you have the files under /tmp

Bam! Thanks, i've alway stopped before because the screen already said "I-MSCP Setup" in the first row.
